TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF: A342 UPAVON BRIDGE, ANDOVER ROAD, UPAVON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
A342 UPAVON BRIDGE, ANDOVER ROAD, UPAVON; from a point 75 metres east of its junction with High Street, Upavon for a further 100 metres towards Vicarage Lane covering the avon river bridge, to enable Wiltshire Council to redeck the river bridge.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Via A342 Everleigh - A338 Collingbourne Ducis to Burbage - B3087 Pewsey - A345 Upavon and vice versa.
The short term closures will be clearly signed in advance indicating the actual dates and durations of closures.
This Order will come into force on 25th May 2009, and it is anticipated that short term closures will take place after this date lasting no more than 72 hours until the expected completion date 25th September 2009. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
