Everleigh is a very special little village. I used to spend my holidays there with the Copes who were my uncles and aunts. They lived in the little cottages at the bottom of the street and then moved up to Pigleaze cottages. I used to help out at Mrs Sweetescott's racing stables and I also helped on Cave's farm I remember the Stringer family very well. I used to love the walks we all used to go on at the weekend. My aunt used to clean the school and also the gravestones outside the Church. This would be in the 50's! I hope to go back again in the next year or two.
