Wiltshire LDF: Gypsy and Traveller Issues and General Approach Consultation.

Wiltshire Council is preparing a plan that will identify land for the travelling communities of Wiltshire and include a policy for assessing the suitability of other sites the Council is asked to consider through the planning application process. This consultation is the first stage in the process of preparing that plan which will be known as the Gypsy and Traveller Site Allocations Development Plan Document.

An 8 week public consultation on the Issues and General Approach to identifying land to meet the accommodation needs of the travelling communities will run until Friday 4th June 2010. (Please see separate attachments for more information).
