You may be reading this before our Fireworks at the Crown on Saturday 3rd November. If so, come along! Remember there will be a free
barbecue for village residents and visitors can lso join in for a modest fee. Details on the village noticeboard by the bus stop in Marlborough Road.
Litter picking will also take place from 3 pm at The Crown and the more the merrier to help tidy up the village.

On the subject of noticeboards, we are having a new board made which can be used for both Parish Council notices and for the use of the village. It will be
located in The Street, which should be more convenient for many residents.

The Parish Council has been receiving a number of planning applications for demolishing the bungalows at West View and replacing them with new houses. This will help tidy up one part of the village which had been sadly neglected by the previous landowners.

Remember Parish Meetings are open to all and the next meeting is scheduled for Monday 3rd December at The Crown from 7.30 pm.
We usually have both the District and County Councillors attending as well as the Police so the meetings could be of interested to many of you who want to know what is happening locally.
