Wiltshire Warm and Well – Keep your home warm and stay well!
Wiltshire Warm and Well offers the opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of your home, reduce the cost of your fuel bills and to reduce associated health problems caused by the cold. Meaning you are more comfortable in your home this winter and you don’t have to worry about trying to stay warm.
The Warm and Well scheme offers free advice on saving energy and can help you claim a grant towards the cost of insulation. If you are aged over 60, on a low income or in receipt of a qualifying benefit, it may be FREE. There are grants available for everyone, so if you do not fall into these categories, cavity wall insulation now starts from £99 and loft insulation from £149.
Wiltshire Council and the Warm and Well scheme now have the use of the Green Room, a mobile advice centre that will be attending community and Council events in the coming months. If you see us, come aboard for advice on renewable technologies, insulating your home, installing energy efficient heating systems or to simply have a chat!
