Urgent Closure of: A346 (Part), Marlborough
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 17th January 2025, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and associated works..
A346 (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with Forest Road to its junction with Blenheim Road.
Alternative route for vehicles over 3.5 metres: via A346 (unaffected length), A338, A342, A361, A4, A346
(unaffected length) and vice versa.
Alternative route for vehicles under 3.5 metres: via A346 (unaffected length), B3087, A345, A346 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 17th January 2025 and are anticipated to be required for 4 days between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
