The small, quiet village of Everleigh, consisting of two parts, East Everleigh and Lower Everleigh, is set on the North East edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.
Everleigh did boast about having all of the essential amenties, the local pub – The Crown Hotel (however this is no more) , its very own Indian Restaurant –The Goa Balti , Richard Hannon’s Stables, Everleigh Farm Shop, sady no longer operating) as well as a bus stop or two, as well as offering unspoilt countryside, peace and quiet and easy access to Collingbourne Woods and Savernake Forest, offers miles of woodland and pathways, perfect for outdoor pursuits if you are that way inclined.
Whilst not brimming over with local attractions, Everleigh boasts historical links to royalty and famous people of their day, archaeology and being the ‘playground’ for the Armed Forces both on Salisbury Plain and over it, with Everleigh being on the flightpath for a designated Drop Zone.
Everleigh is lucky to have a very active Parish Council, and in order to comply with new legislation and transparency, you can find all of the relevent meeting information, doucments and statements on this website. Everleigh Parish Council meetings as well as other Everleigh and local events will be displayed in the calendar.

The local area is covered by a community radio station, called Castledown Radio , based in Ludgershall and the local community magazine “The Courier”, the latest version is available to download here
