Water supply investigations & Road Closure

Dear Customer,

Water supply investigations, Marlborough Road, Everleigh

Wessex Water is planning to upgrade the existing water main along Marlborough Road, Everleigh from April 2026. This essential work will help ensure improved water quality and a more reliable supply for years to come.

As part of our preparations, we will be carrying out borehole window sampling at a number of locations along Marlborough Road to assess the ground conditions.

How will this work affect you?

The sampling is scheduled to begin on Monday 9 February and will last for four days.

Due to the nature of the work, a road closure will be in place during daytime working hours. However, access will be maintained for residents, emergency services, and refuse collection vehicles from one end of the closure depending on where the work is located during the four days.

There may be some noise disruption while this work is carried, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.

You can continue to use your water supply and sewerage services as normal unless we tell you otherwise.
