Neighbourhood Watch Update – 10-17th March 2015

There has been another report of curious chalk marks being seen around.


Between 6.00pm on 6th and 6.00am on Friday 13th, Cherry Tree Avenue, theft from motor vehicle, offenders stole a Blue Point socket set from a parked van.

At 4.30pm on Saturday 14th, Hawthorn Road, criminal damage, a vehicle’s paintwork was damaged by scracthing with a sharp instrument.

Between 4.30 and 8.30pm on Sunday 15th, Ebble Close, criminal damage, a vehicle’s doors and boot were damaged by scratching with a sharp instrument.


At 8.00am on Sunday 15th, Andover Road, there was an altercation between neighbours over their fence.

At 8.30pm on Friday 13th, Wood Park, anti social behaviour, offender threw an egg at the window of a house, causing distress to residents.


At 10.30am on Tuesday 17th, a vehicle was seen in suspicious circumstances near a farm.  It was an M reg Mitsubishi Shogun with two males on board; when challenged, the driver was offensive and drove off.  The driver was described as white, overweight.


Between 3.00 and 4.00pm Saturday 14th, near A342, theft from motor vehicle, offender smashed the window of a parked car and stole dog leads, a Musto green waxed leather shooting jacket and a Barbour green waxed leather shooting bag.

At 12.30pm on Sunday 15th, near Baydon Clump, possible hare coursing, offenders were seen with a dog in a Subaru, colour green.  Officers in 3 police vehicles were unable to get near enough to the subject vehicle to take effective action.
