We will be conducting a work party at our village playground this Saturday (22 April) starting at 9.30am and finishing at about noon. The plan is:
- Paint shelter inside and out
- Remove weeds and vegetation in shelter
- Paint wooden structures, including climbing frame and basket swing
- Paint bench (near ped gate) and remove weeds and vegetation
- Clean all climbing and play structures i.e. remove algae and lichen as far as possible
All volunteers are very welcome. We will provide wood paint; please bring paint brushes, cleaning materials and garden tools to remove weeds.

PS: Kim Wheeler-Mallows will be carrying out the following tasks seperately:
- Fit new gate-post at far pedestrian gate
- Cut and re-attach fence behind shelter to ease painting
- Reprovide pipe lagging and secure on primary pedestrian gate
- Raise basket swing iaw annual inspection report
