I wanted to provide you an update from my patrol today. I am the Neighbourhood Police Officer who covers Tidworth, Ludgershall and the surrounding rural areas. I travelled 67 miles today during my shift speaking with the public about issues and many just for a nice chat, mainly, discussing the weather and increase in flooding. It was wonderful to see the community spirit and those checking on their neighbours and friends.
Today I visited the following towns and villages – Netheravon, Haxton, Fittleton, Fifield, Coombe, Enford, Everleigh, Collingbourne Ducis, Collingbourne Kingston, Aughton, Ludgershall, Upper Chute, Lower Chute, Chute Forest, Tidworth, Perham Down, Bulford, Durrington, Larkhill and back to Amesbury to finish some paperwork for the day.
Those having problems with flooding in their homes and businesses, I hope you have a safe evening.
