General Overview:
Activity on the Plain will be significantly reduced in the first half of April. Following the Easter Weekend the Royal School of Artillery 4 main courses will combine on Exercise CROSSED CANNONS with both live and dry training based throughout the plain. Concurrently the land Warfare Centre will conduct the Warrior Junior Comds course on the Imber Ranges and Challenger squadrons from the Kings Royal Hussars and Royal Tank Regiment will train across all of the training area.

As part of Exercise JOINT WARRIOR 2015 elements of 16 Air Assault Brigade will conduct a parachute landing on the Imber Drop Zone on 17/18 April and patrol north off the Plain to assault the airfield at Keevil. Most activity will be on foot with a small number of light wheeled vehicles.

The week 20th – 24th April will see a large armoured Exercise LIONS STRIKE being conducted across the Plain from West to East whilst armoured sub-units from 5 units based in Tidworth/Bulford carrying out low level armoured manoeuvre training.

In the last week of April logistic elements which support the Lead Commando Battle Group will train on SPTA alongside Warrior and Mastiff companies from 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and 4th Battalion The Rifles.
