Two years ago Everleigh marked the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War by holding a Remembrance Service in St Peter’s Church and presenting each member of the village with a commemorative mug.

This is our third initiative – to unveil a First World War Commemoration Stone with a suitable plaque in the centre of Everleigh.
