Taken from Wiltshire Police Rural Crime Facebook page – 15th December 2024
Three vehicles have been seized by Rural Crime team officers today from the areas of Upavon and Everleigh. Groups of 4x4s have come from outside of Wiltshire to use Salisbury Plain as a playground and items found within some of these vehicles suggested that they may also be involved with hare coursing. All three had no insurance.
We continue to work alongside Landmarc, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and local Neighbourhood teams from Amesbury Police and Devizes Police to tackle rural and anti-social crime in this area.
